Chloe Fergusson-Tibble says being given the choice to vaccinate is important for tāngata whaiora

Chloe Fergusson-Tibble (Ngāpuhi and Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairoa) talks about the importance of choice when considering being vaccinated for COVID-19. For those with mental health problems, having choices are paramount to wellbeing. Chloe believes in looking to whānau, community and other trusted sources, including Māori doctors, for information to help inform that choice, when making the decision to get the COVID-19 vaccination.

Chloe is one of eight tāngata whaiora who share their personal experiences through a video series from Nōku te Ao: Like Minds. Their mission is to end prejudice and discrimination and increase inclusion for people with experiences of mental distress.
